Asha’s artwork draws on her experience as a mother, nurse, teacher, gardener, tea student, meditator and friend. Included in the show are realistic paintings, watercolors, whimsical drawings, meditation studies, family chronicles, mixed media.

Asha is happiest when her art hangs on the walls of people who love it.
Much of the work is for sale.

Students of The Heartwood Tea School, founded by Asha, will host ceremonial Japanese tea daily from 3-7pm in Studio 404 at IX building. Participants will learn the art of being a guest and will enjoy a delicious bowl of Matcha and a tea sweet.

The Way of Tea is a practice of service, of creating a space to make and serve a bowl of tea with intention, presence and love.

COVID safety protocols strictly observed during Tea ceremony and lessons.

Visitors must wear face coverings when entering the building and at all times while in the gallery, regardless of vaccination status.
Please stay home if you are not feeling well. | Visitors must maintain a physical distance of 6 feet apart at all times (a family or a small group of friends may stay together). | We ask visitors to respect capacity limits within the Art Galleries and Tea Ceremonies. | These limits will be posted in the gallery and updated in accordance with State and CDC recommendations. These protocols are subject to change as CDC recommendations and guidelines are updated.
